Getting "A server path must be abolute" error

description

This is my first time using the tool. The url to my TFS project collection is https://vsts.itron.com:8443/tfs/RND-INA. The team project is $Analytics.

In git bash, when I run this command:
git tf clone https://vsts.itron.com:8443/tfs/RND-INA $Analytics iap1
... I get this error:
git-tf: A server path must be absolute: iap1

I tried specifying a full path:
git tf clone https://vsts.itron.com:8443/tfs/RND-INA $Analytics c:/git/iap1
... but I still get the error:
git-tf: A server path must be absolute: c:/git/iap1

I'm running this on Windows 10.

Hi,

Try to use $/Analytics instead of $Analytics.

I still get the same error:
$ git tf clone https://vsts.itron.com:8443/tfs/RND-INA $/Analytics iap1
git-tf: A server path must be absolute: $C:/Program Files/Git/Analytics
